DePaul's Center for Writing-based Learning has an amazing website (http://condor.depaul.edu/~writing/) with an impressive variety of resources for students--too many to list here--and links to educational materials and other websites. The website provides easy access to the Center and staff (try the webcam appointment!). Check out the Writing Website, and the Center has a Loop office, too, in 1600 Lewis Center. Go ahead--make an appointment to work with a peer consultant now. The firms tell us again and again: after your accounting skills, they look for writing ability.

Internships/part-time job opportunities:

We no longer list current offers in the School of Accountancy offices, because the best place for full and up-to-the-minute information is at the DePaul Career Center, through DePaul.Experience. Access to information is on the website. If you're not registered with--or familiar with--DePaul.Experience,  you're very late. At least visit  http://careercenter.depaul.edu/ to get to see what what you don't even know about.

NONETHELESS, the School has many special relationships with leading firms such as Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Abbott Laboratories, BDO Seidman, and, most recently, Credit Suisse. Visit the Career Center for more information.

Code of Conduct

In order to address specific issues that accountancy and management information systems faculty want to emphasize, the department has prepared this code of conduct. The department is not trying to replicate or replace the DePaul University Student Handbook. Instead, the department emphasizes the importance of student awareness of and adherence to the entire content of Code of Student Responsibility.   Download: Department Code of Conduct
